Carrie Underwood is set to perform at the 2018 American Music Awards. According to People, Underwood joins Imagine Dragons and Post Malone in the evening's lineup of performers; she's also nominated in the Favorite Female Artist -- Country category. The 2018 American Music Awards will be held on Oct. 9 at Los Angeles's Microsoft Theater, and show's live the broadcast will begin on ABC at 8PM ET.

Blake Shelton has joined the star-packed cast of forthcoming animated film UglyDolls. Based on the popular line of dolls of the same name, the film also features voice work from Kelly Clarkson, Wanda Sykes and Gabriel Iglesias. According to Deadline, Shelton will portray a character named "Ox," the mayor of the film's setting, Uglyville. The UglyDolls film will debut in theaters on May 10, 2019, and is likely the first in a series.

On Oct. 8, Darius Rucker will host a night of music honoring the late, great Ray Charles at the Grand Ole Opry. Rucker will be joined by Brett Eldredge, Cam, Boyz II Men, Travis Tritt, Lukas Nelson and Chris Young, among other artists, at the concert, which will be recorded and is expected to air in November on PBS.

Country up-and-comer Dylan Scott is set to head out on tour in 2019. Scott will kick off a run of 17 dates on his Nothing To Do Town Tour at New York City's Gramercy Theatre, making stops in Boston, Mass.; Detroit, Mich.; and Minneapolis, Minn.; among other cities, before concluding in Charlotte, N.C. on Feb. 23. Scott will be joined by support act and special guest Seth Ennis; tickets for the tour go on sale on Sept. 21 at DylanScottCountry.com.
