The country music community welcomed pop star Pink back to the CMA Awards on Wednesday night (Nov. 13), two years after she performed solo during the 2017 awards show. She and Chris Stapleton brought their stunning duet "Love Me Anyway" to this year's event.

Pink took the stage front and center, dressed in a striking red cape and black hat, while Stapleton stood off to the side mostly in the shadows and allowed her to take the spotlight. One thing that did not hide in the dark, however, was Stapleton's beautiful vocals. The two singers' voices, melding together with simple accompaniment of piano and strings, called forth cheers from the audience.

Top 5 Moments From the 2019 CMA Awards:

Pink co-wrote "Love Me Anyway" with Allen Shamblin and Thomas Douglas. The song appears on her latest album, Hurts 2B Human, released in late April, and is one of Stapleton's numerous pop collaborations. The country superstar has worked with Justin Timberlake several times.

In addition to Pink's 2017 CMA Awards performance, she collaborated with Kenny Chesney, on the duet "Setting the World on Fire." That song won a Grammy.
