Dierks Bentley is celebrating, as his latest single is "Living" atop the Country Airplay chart. The song rose to the top of the Billboard chart for the week dated Sept. 28.

According to Billboard, "Living" reached an audience of 39.5 million. Bentley tells the outlet that the song is "authentically personal," but also has the potential for "commercial success," which his spot at the top of the chart proves. The "I'll Be the Moon" singer goes on to say he "got it both ways" with the song.

"I got to write something that has deep meaning for me, a song with the importance of gratitude at its core. And, I get to go out there onstage and pound my chest and sing it at the top of my lungs along with all our fans, who know it by heart thanks to country radio," he reflects. "That is the dream, and it came true with this one."

"Living" follows Bentley's previous singles from his ninth album, The Mountain, also chart successes. The record's lead single, "Woman, Amen," topped the Country Airplay chart in 2018, and the album's second single, "Burning Man," featuring Brothers Osborne, reached No. 2 in February.

Thanks to "Living," Bentley now has 17 career No. 1 singles on the Country Airplay chart. Kenny Chesney has the most, with 30 Country Airplay chart-topping songs.

"Living" also rose, for the week of Sept. 28, from No. 8 to No. 6 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.
