Whether or not you've kept up with the series in the last ten years, it's hard to believe there was ever a time when 'Family Guy' was in danger of cancellation.  Now past 200 episodes and with Seth MacFarlane's star ever on the rise, the series can attract just about any guest star it wants!  Case in point, did you ever think Johnny Depp would make an appearance reprising the classic character of Edward Scissorhands?  Check out a first look inside!

Over 22 years after its original release, 'Edward Scissorhands' fans are finally getting the reprisal they've been waiting for...about twenty seconds worth, of it, anyway.  This Sunday's upcoming 'Family Guy' episode "Lois Comes Out of Her Shell" will briefly feature the Hollywood star returning to one of his most famous roles, portraying Edward Scissorhands in a brief cutaway gag.

The rest of the episode will feature Lois undergoing a mid-life crisis and acting half her age, leading Meg, Brian, Chris and Stewie to figure out what's wrong.  The cutwaway appears to be Depp's only involvement in the episode, but we wouldn't be surprised if Seth MacFarlane managed to coax at least a final gag out of the notoriously reclusive actor.
