Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp and Neil Young are among the artists set to perform during FarmAid 2018. According to Rolling Stone, the festival will take place in Connecticut for the first time ever, taking over Hartford, Conn.'s Xfinity Theatre on Sept. 22. Sturgill Simpson, Kacey Musgraves, Margo Price, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real and Chris Stapleton are also set to perform at the annual event, which was founded in 1985 and raises money to support family farms. Tickets are on sale on June 29.

Carrie Underwood is headed to the UK to headline the first-ever The Long Road Festival in Leicestershire, England. Set for Sept. 7-9, 2018, the all-country festival will also feature performances from Lee Ann Womack, Billy Bragg, Angaleena Presley, the Wandering Hearts, Ward Thomas, Charlie Worsham, Danielle Bradbery and more. “I’m thrilled to be a part of this exciting new festival that celebrates the heart and soul of country music on a global stage," Underwood says in a statement.

Adam Wakefield Blame It on Me

Singer-songwriter and former The Voice contestant Adam Wakefield has joined Colt Ford's Average Joes Entertainment record label. According to a press release, Wakefield is currently working on a full-length album and will make his debut on Average Joes with two self-written singles, "Cheap Whiskey and Bad Cocaine" and "Dry Days," set for release on July 13. “Adam’s style and artistry is undeniable, and his spirit is infectious. We’re excited to welcome him to the AJE family,” says Average Joes CEO Shannon Houchins in a statement.

Congratulations are in order for country singer Julie Roberts, who wed her husband Matt Baugher in Tennessee on Saturday (June 23). Roberts' nuptials, according to Taste of Country, took place inside fellow country artist Rory Feek's barn. "Celebrating with my family and friends last night was a dream come true!!!!" Roberts writes on Instagram. "We keep re-living moments in the airport!!!!! Thanks be to God for the perfect celebration and my forever soulmate!!!"

When the Grammy Awards return in 2019, even more artists and albums will be up for trophies. According to Billboard, the Recording Academy will expand the all-genre Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist categories from five contenders to eight. Recording Academy president Neil Portnow says the move will allow voters "more flexibility" in choosing their picks for the biggest categories. The changes will first be in effect for the 61st annual Grammy Awards.
