Despite his "retirement" a few years ago, George Strait has announced another stadium concert for 2019. The King of Country Music will play Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts, outside of Boston, on Aug. 17; performing with him will be Blake Shelton, Cody Johnson and Caitlyn Smith. Tickets for the show will go on sale on March 29 at 10AM ET. -- AS

Jason Isbell, Amanda Shires, Sheryl Crow and Mavis Staples will headline ShoalsFest 2019. The one-day event is set for Oct. 5 at Florence, Ala.'s McFarland Park, and is a project of Isbell's, a tribute to the time he spent honing his skills as a musician at the area's iconic FAME Studios. “I’ve always wanted to bring a music festival to the Shoals, and McFarland Park is the perfect place to enjoy world-class artists and the beauty of the Singing River,” Isbell says in a statement. “These acts are all personal favorites of ours, and we’re proud to bring them to our hometown and show them a good time." Only 5,000 tickets will be sold for the festival, and they'll be available at 10AM CT on March 25 via the festival's website. -- AM

At the 2019 Juno Awards, the biggest music awards show in Canada, country trio the Washboard Union won big in the Breakthrough Group of the Year category, while Brett Kissel won in the Country Album of the year category. Among the other winners at the Sunday night (March 17) awards show were rock five-piece Arkells, who took home Group of the Year and Rock Album of the Year. -- AM

Congratulations are in order for Farewell Angelina's Andrea Young, who recently tied the knot with her now-husband, fellow musician Brad Nelson. According to Taste of Country, the couple got married in an oceanside ceremony on March 2 in Jamaica, with (of course) Young's Farewell Angelina bandmates Nicole Witt, Ashley Gearing and Lisa Torres in attendance. -- AM
