Jason Aldean's new song "Camouflage Hat" paints a picture of the perfect Friday night.

The country superstar calls on a simplistic production and his crisp voice to depict a Friday night scene of hard-working people out in the sticks heading into town to blow off steam from the work week. Truck driving down Main Street — check! — muddy boots and tires — check! — and tailgating under the stars set the scene.

"Here they come, rolling down Main Street / A country song spinning on a CD / Small town looking for a good time / Raise a little hell and a drink at the country line / Muddy boots, muddy tires / Wrap your baby in your jacket by the fire / Yeah, the girls round here, they got it bad / For good old boys in a camouflage hat," Aldean sings in the chorus.

Meet Jason Aldean's 2020 Tourmate!

"Camouflage Hat," written by Josh Thompson, Jameson Rodgers and Ben Hayslip, is included on Aldean's upcoming album, 9set for release on Nov. 22. Named in honor of it being his ninth studio album, Aldean describes 9 as getting two albums for the price of one since it will feature 16 songs.

“I want fans to feel like they’re getting more than they bargained for and I want it to be something they listen to from top to bottom, and never hit skip … or thumbs down or whatever," he explains.

The album's lead single, "We Back," is currently in the Top 30 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. He'll embark on a 2020 tour named after the song launching on Jan. 30 in Columbia, S.C. Morgan Wallen and Riley Green will serve as openers on a trek that concludes on March 14 in St. Paul, Minn.
