Singer Julie Roberts has had her share of life's hurdles to overcome — including a childhood with an abusive father and a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis in 2011 — but on Saturday (June 23) the singer experienced pure happiness when she married the love of her life, Matt Baugher, in a ceremony held in Rory Feek's barn.

The groom is Senior Vice President at Thomas Nelson, Inc., a Christian publishing house that put out Feek's autobiography and will also publish Roberts' forthcoming memoir, Beauty in the Breakdown: Choosing to Overcome.

Roberts shared a couple of snaps from the wedding on social media, showing off what appeared to be a beautiful Nashville-area celebration.

"Celebrating with my family and friends last night was a dream come true!!!!" she enthused. "We keep re-living moments in the airport!!!!! Thanks be to God for the perfect celebration and my forever soulmate!!!"

Roberts first gained attention in the early '00s, putting out her debut album in 2004 and following that in 2006 with Men and Mascara. She fell out of the spotlight for some time, but in 2013, took part in the Blind Auditions of the fourth season of hit reality television show The Voice. She released a new album, Good Wine & Bad Decisions, that same year.
