Surprisingly, Clarkson came under fire after covering Carlile from a social media follower who claimed Clarkson is just now appreciating the singer because of her recent Grammy wins. Unfortunately for the troll, Clarkson responded in the best way possible.

After her performance at the 2019 Grammys, Clarkson tweeted Carlile, writing, "@brandicarlile you deserve all of this and more! Great performance! My favorite of the night!"

Other songs Clarkson covered during her 2019 tour so far include Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's "Shallow," along with Blake Shelton's "Boys Round Here." Clarkson both live streams the segment on her Facebook page and also posts them after her shows on her YouTube page.
