Luke Bryan let hometown girl Gabby Barrett shine during his What Makes You Country XL tour stop in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Saturday (June 30).

The 2018 third place American Idol finalist joined Bryan onstage to sing his hit song "Most People Are Good" before she performed Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" by herself. Video shared on Barett's YouTube channel shows her nervously awaiting her introduction before strutting to the stage and performing for the Heinz Field (home of the Pittsburgh Steelers) crowd.

Afterward, Barrett wrote: "A crowd of 50,000. We did a duet, then he let me do a song by myself. Just me and y’all. Thank you so much (love) @lukebryan & thank you so much to everyone for making my dreams come true."

The teenager was the second runner-up to Caleb Lee Hutchinson and winner Maddie Poppe during the first season of the revived American Idol. It was also Bryan's first as judge on the reality television series. His current What Makes You Country Tour includes several stadium stops and features opening acts Sam Hunt, Jon Pardi and Morgan Wallen.

Saturday's show in Pittsburgh was also remarkable due to the heat. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that several dozen people were hospitalized between tailgating and the show itself.
