Maren Morris is letting everyone know that she's ready to record new music! The country star revealed on Instagram on Thursday (April 26) that she's planning her studio days for her sophomore album.

On Thursday, Morris shared on Instagram a photo of her (giant diamond-clad) hand atop a piece of paper labeled "MM2 Studio Days." Wanting to make it explicitly clear what she's up to, Morris captioned the picture "She's ready to record." Although her hand covers almost all of the paper, a couple words -- "interlude" and "woman" -- are visible, allowing fans to eagerly speculate about her new tunes.

In April of 2017, Morris talked about writing for her sophomore album: "I've grown into the woman I am even more after stacking a decade's worth of bucket-list moments into one year," Morris said at the time. "Those experiences will all come out in the wash. I know that whatever songs do fall out in the writing room ... will be the purest reflection of myself."

Reflecting on the authenticity of country music, she continued, "A banjo or fiddle doesn't make a country song, it's the core-cutting truth that does and I intend to explore it one day or beer at a time."

In late 2017, Morris was playing a new song, "Flavor," during some of her live shows. Lyrics include, "If you don’t like the heat, then get out of the kitchen / I’m cookin’ with my own flavor, even if it ain’t your style.”
