So I decided to take the night off from being the World's Most Eligible Bachelor to stay home and be a bum. As I was flipping through the channels, I stumbled across Pulp Fiction...as Samuel L. Jackson was giving the most powerful speech in all of cinema.

You know exactly what speech I'm talking about. The one where he recites Ezekiel 25:17. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps. If you can't remember or don't even know what I'm talking about...or just want a little motivation on the day, then check this bad boy out.

After I went to YouTube to watch it about 20 times, I began thinking about other great movie speeches.

Like I said, Mr. Jackson's speech is the greatest of all time...in my opinion. 2nd on that list is the speech George C. Scott gave as General Patton, in the movie Patton!

In 3rd, I have a tie between Jack Nicholson and Al Pacino. Obviously, we all remember the 5 words Colonel Jessup (Jack Nicholson) yelled..."You Can't Handle The Truth". But, that was just the beginning of that amazing speech.

Tied with that speech from A Few Good Men, is Al Pacino's speech in Scent of a Woman.

What do you think about my list? What are your favorite speeches from the cinema?
