Old Dominion are postponing three of their 2019 Make It Sweet Tour stops so frontman Matthew Ramsey can undergo surgery. The three shows, all originally scheduled in mid-February, have already been rescheduled for later in the year.

Billboard reports Ramsey's surgery will be on his leg, and will address an old injury. The singer says in a statement that he's been performing in spite of the issue "for some time now."

“Postponing concert dates was not the way I planned on starting 2019 ... Unfortunately, the only way I can get back to the old me is to fix some things surgically," he adds. "I want to be able to put on the best show I possibly can for you all and, in order to do that, I’ve got to take care of myself. I thank you all in advance for understanding, and I look forward to making a full recovery so that we all rock together. See you soon!”

Old Dominion's website offers further details about the three postponed concerts: The show originally scheduled for Feb. 14 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, has been moved to June 13. Feb. 15's concert in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will now take place on March 31. And Feb. 16's stop in Fort Wayne, Ind., is now scheduled for May 2. Tickets purchased for the original shows will be honored at the rescheduled stops.

Old Dominion's headlining Make It Sweet Tour will begin on Jan. 18 in Chicago, Ill. They'll play shows through Feb. 9, then return to the road after Ramsey's surgery on Feb. 27. Jordan DavisMorgan Evans and Mitchell Tenpenny will be joining them on the road during the tour.
