The Pistol Annies were on hand at the 2018 CMA Awards to perform their latest single, "Got My Name Changed Back." The song appears on Ashley MonroeAngaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert's third studio album together, Interstate Gospel, released on Nov. 2.

Lambert was armed with her newly learned musical washboard as she, Monroe and Presley harmonized on the lyrics of "Got My Name Changed Back." They were backed by a band of musicians, including a pianist who helped turned the song into a honky-tonky-ready romp.

"Angaleena always says that this song is about absolutely no one in our band! But seriously, we know a lot of people that can relate to it. Two out of three of us have been divorced," Monroe tells The Boot. "Being a friend of a lot of people who have been through [divorce], I know sometimes you just need a little silver lining and, for one second in that day, to just laugh out loud and not be heartbroken.

"I think it was important for us to provide that to anyone who needs it -- even people who aren't getting divorced," Monroe adds. "I mean, I get into this song, and I've never gotten my name changed back."

Interstate Gospel is the Pistol Annies first new album since 2013. The three women co-wrote all of the songs on the project.
