Living in the Los Angeles can lead to some bizarre degrees of separation among celebs, and not all connections go well. According to TMZ, the wife of Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith was allegedly involved in an incident with former Happy Days and Charles in Charge actor Scott Baio that ended with Baio filing a police report.

During the recent election, Baio was one of Donald Trump's most vocal celebrity supporters and his backing of the President Elect reportedly was at the heart of the disagreement between the actor and the drummer's wife. Law enforcement officials told TMZ that Baio was at an event with his daughter Saturday in Thousand Oaks, Calif. when Nancy Mack confronted him about his Trump support.

The actor supposedly asked Mack to quiet down as kids were present, but she continued her questioning, asking how he could support a man who was on tape with the "Grab 'em by the p--sy" comment. She allegedly continued shouting the phrase at Baio so that others could hear and the actor told police that she then attacked him, grabbing him under the arms and shaking and pushing him.

Sources close to Mack say she was trying to show Baio how Trump hugs women and denied that there was any intentional aggression on her part. According to TMZ, the Ventura County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident and Mack was listed as a battery suspect.
