The very first Seven Peaks Festival is this weekend in Colorado, and understandably, fans have questions about what to expect.

Fortunately, "Born to Love You" singers Lanco have offered to help with seven truths for those looking forward to seeing Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne and more! The group's list of seven do's and don'ts for the Seven Peaks Festival complement the official list of FAQs found at the festival's website. Learn what to do if you come upon a wild John Osborne, as well as how to mix the music with adventures like a raft trip and zip line tour available nearby (in short, take it from Nike and just do it!).

The 2018 Seven Peaks Festival starts Friday (Aug. 31) with a throwback lineup that features Clint Black, Sawyer Brown, Terri Clark and David Lee Murphy. On Saturday (Sept. 1), Lambert will headline a day that also offers music from Brothers Osborne, Kiefer Sutherland, Sam Bush, the Cadillac Three and Lucie Silvas. Bentley closes his first-ever Seven Peaks event with Elle King, Dan + Shay, Lanco and the Del McCoury Band all part of the main stage activity. There's also a second Whiskey Row stage that will feature artists like Cody Canada, Travis Denning and Walker McGuire through the weekend.

Follow Taste of Country on Twitter and Instagram all weekend for highlights from the inaugural Seven Peaks Festival. Festival and camping passes are currently on sale through the festival website.

Lanco's 7 Do's and Don'ts at the Seven Peaks Music Festival:

DON'T leave food out by your tent!

DO bring bear mace

DON'T leave your buddy behind

DO take pictures if you find Sasquatch — just make sure it’s not John Osborne

DON'T forget to hydrate. We’re in high altitude, folks!

DO watch Lanco on Sunday. We're pumped to help close out the last day of the festival.

DON'T not have a good time, between the music scene, hiking and whitewater rafting.
