Actress Tamera Mowry-Housley's niece is missing after a late-night shooting that killed 12 people in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Aside from one sheriff, the names of the victims have not been made public.

Mowry-Housley starred alongside her sister Tia Mowry in Sister, Sister in the '90s. She's now married to Adam Housely, who until recently was a correspondent for Fox News. The missing girl is Alaina Housely, who would be Tamera's niece by marriage (and no relation to Tia).

News of Alaina Housely being missing came to light on Twitter when Tamera Mowry-Housely responded to her niece's college suitemate, who tweeted about Alaina being missing:

Alaina was part of group of friends who went line-dancing at the Borderline Bar & Grill Wednesday night (Nov. 7). Many of them reportedly escaped during the shooting or shortly after. It's not clear if the Pepperdine University freshman is among them.

L.A. Times reporter Andrea Castillo tweeted that she talked to Adam Housely at the nearby Los Robles Regional Medical Center and shared that Alaina's watch and iPhone still showed her location on the dancefloor.

Housely has tweeted asking for prayers, and the last update by anyone involved, including Tia Mowry, came late Thursday morning:

Alleged gunman Ian Long created a smokescreen before firing on bar patrons at the Thousand Oaks, Calif. establishment at about 11:20PM on Nov. 7. He was also killed. More than a dozen people were injured trying to hide or escape the attack. Many of the people in the bar had also been to the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas in October 2017 when a gunman opened fire, killing 58.,
