2013 Wade Bowen Classic Raises Record Amount for West, Texas

Wade Bowen recently hosted his 15th annual Wade Bowen Classic which this year benefited the town of West, Texas. The town suffered a tremendous loss in April of this year when a fertilizer plant exploded and damaged homes, a school and killed 15 people. This year's Classic brought in a record amount of money.

15th Annual 'Wade Bowen Classic' Golf Tournament to Benefit West, Texas

This is the 15th year or singer/songwriter Wade Bowen to host his golf tournament. Each year an organization is chosen to benefit from the fundraiser and this year all proceeds will benefit relief for the families and organizations affected by the West,Tx tragedy. This is extremely close to Wade as he is a native of Waco, just a few miles from where the explosion happened.
