Since the catastrophe in West, Texas then the tornado in Moore Oklahoma, it didn’t take Texas music fans and industry leaders long to come up with ways to help our fellow Texans and neighbors in Moore OK. The catalyst was the Best In Texas Music Magazine and Texas music artists donating their personal items or vowing to do a private show, all just to raise money for West, Texas explosion and Moore, Oklahoma tornado victims. Here’s how much was raised.

In the past few weeks, Texas Music fans have bid on several auctions of collectibles, memorabilia and a private acoustic concert from the artists. Fans helped raise over $7,400.00 for victims of the fertilizer-plant explosion in West, Texas.

Then the focus turned to Moore Oklahoma following a devastating tornado. Again Best In Texas Music Magazine received from Cody and Shannon Canada a Cross Canadian Ragweed neon sign that brought over $1,200.00.

Katie Key With Best In Texas Music Magazine and the Texas Music Chart says “unfortunately the fund raising will not continue because we’ve run out of items that artists had donated to auction off.” Here’s a complete list of how much all the collectibles, memorabilia and the private acoustic concert from Scooter Brown and Josh Ward went for.
